Srushti Deshmukh is beginning preparations for the UPSC exam in her third year of her engineering degree. After her graduation she wondered if she would be content working in an engineering position. After realizing her dream and pursuing it, she started working in civil service. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil service, and to pursue an opportunity to work in public service. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was committed to achieve that goal. Achieving UPSC is a lot of work. The student also studied for UPSC tests while she was doing her engineering studies. Each day she allocated the time to study for exams. Within a little over an entire month, she prepared for her engineering test and completely avoided all social media. The reason she believes in concentration and focus are crucial for success in the government examination to become an official. She was determined to get through the test in one go, and she did a lot of effort. Daily, she would read the papers to stay on top of current affairs.
