
Jazmine Marie Sullivan (born April 9, 1987) is an American R&B and soul singer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia The album that she debuted on, Fearless was released in 2008. It topped the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Four songs were included on the album were recorded, including "Need U Good" (which is in the Top 40 of Billboard's Hot 100) along with "Bust Your Windows" the first single by Sullivan and only #1 single on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Sullivan was able to follow this up with her sophomore studio album, Love Me Back, in the year 2010, and was highly praised by critics. After a 3-year hiatus, Sullivan signed to RCA Records in 2015. In the year 2015, she debuted The Reality Show's debut studio album. It was her debut single to be a top album to appear on the Top R&B Albums charts. In 2021she dropped her highly acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick up Your Feelings". Sullivan earned two Grammy Awards and a Billboard Women in Music Award. The singer also took home 3 NAACP Image Awards and 2 BET Awards. Time classified her as one of their 100 most influential people of 2022.
